Augusta is the state capital of Maine and forms part of Kennebec County. The cities of Gardiner and Hallowell are also cities within Kennebec County. This database is a transcription of a directory for the cities originally published in 1882. In addition to providing the residents' names, it provides their addresses and occupational information. The database includes more than 6,200 names, mostly heads of household.
