One of the southernmost cities in Alabama, Mobile is situated on the western side of Mobile Bay. This database is a transcription of three city directories originally published between 1890 and 1892. In addition to providing the resident's name, it provides information regarding their address and occupation. This collection includes the names of over 57,000 people, mostly heads of households. For those seeking ancestors from southern Alabama, this can be an informative database.
