This database is a history of the town of Paris, Maine to 1880. The town was originally incorporated in 1793 under the rule of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In 1795, when Maine separated from Massachusetts, the town of Paris became a part of Maine. This history includes a history of the grants of 1736 and 1771, personal sketches, and a genealogical register.
