Hancock, Massachusetts Census, 1790-1920

Description (from source site)
Located on the border with New York, the town of Hancock, Massachusetts was formed in 1776 in the county of Berkshire. This database is an index to the federal censuses of the town from 1790 to 1920, and contains the names of over 5000 persons. It provides the first and last name of the resident appearing in the census along with the year, page and line number of the source document from which the information was taken. For the years of 1850 through 1920, the residents of each household are listed in the order they appeared in the original census. This allows researchers to know residents of particular households and the head of that house. Also, if a name is followed by an "s," this indicates the person is a resident of the Shaker Village.
