Just north of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is the town of Lanesboro. This small town, formed in 1765, has been home to thousands of persons since its creation. This database is an index to federal census records for the town between 1790 and 1920. Taken from the National Archives Regional Administration office in Pittsfield, information provided includes name, number of persons in the family, age, and relation to head of household.
