Selectmen were a small group of men chosen annually to manage the affairs of any given town in New England. This data includes the Selectmen reports for the town of Concord, Massachusetts in 1860-1861. Included are budget reports, public school reports, and vital statistics. The school reports include information about both the teacher and the students. The vital statistics include details for deaths only. This data will be beneficial to those with early Massachusetts ancestry.
