This large database is a history of northwestern Arkansas. It is also a collection of biographies of persons who lived in that area. It covers the time from the arrival of European explorers to about 1885. A wide range of information is contained within the work, including lists elected officials, genealogies, and the economic foundations of some communities. The biographies are rich in detail, sometimes anecdotal, and helpful in tracing lines of descent.
