Located on the western border of the state, Polk County, Arkansas was created in 1844 and began recording marriages in 1881. This database is a collection of marriage records from the county between 1906 and 1910, and contains the names of almost 3000 persons. Each record, in addition to showing the date of marriage, contains the name, age, and residence of the bride and groom. Each record appears in the following format: Surname, Given Name, Town of Residence, Age, Surname, Given Name, Town of Residence, Age, and Source Document Reference.
