Located in southern Michigan on the shores of Lake Michigan, the city of Muskegon is the county seat of Muskegon County. This database is a transcription of city directories originally published in 1887 and 1889. In addition to providing the residents' names, it provides their addresses and occupational information. The database includes more than 30,600 names, mostly heads of household.
