if desired. This database will be of particular interest to researchers with Manitoba
ancestors.
The R.M. of Oakland is located in the western region of Manitoba. In 1901,
the majority of residents were born either in Manitoba or Ontario. This database has over 2100 entries of residents for the census year 1901. It also contains the full names, relationship to the head of the household, full date of birth, and birthplace, as well as the year of immigration to Canada (if not Canadian by birth).
