Located across the Delaware River from Wilmington, Salem County, New Jersey was created in 1694. Originally published in the 1930s, this database is a collection of information for residents of Salem County, New Jersey in the nineteenth century. Most of the records deal with vital records, although lists of judges and justices of the peace are included along with some military records. Vital record entries provide birth and death dates, along with name of spouse and marriage date. It provides useful facts regarding over 10,000 persons.
