This collection of cemetery records adds to the growing number of databases in the ""Ellsberry Collection."" The database was compiled by long-time researcher, school teacher, and professional genealogist Elizabeth Ellsberry. These cemetery records contain the name of the deceased, relatives, birth date, death date, etc., as well as age, when given. You may also find notes on some of the graveyards listed. The database includes more than 3,600 entries.

The Following Cemeteries are included in the database:

Cemetery located two miles north of Baltio, New London County, CT. This is not the complete cemetery--this is only the old section.
Cemetery, down Cemetery Lane, Norwichtown, CT. This does not include all of the tombstones in this cemetery. The brush and woods were so high, we did not get all of the stones.
This cemetery was located at the edge of Jewett City, New London County, CT
Dennison Burying Ground.
Pachaug Cemetery. Old Section Pachaug, New London County, CT.
Glasgo Cemetery. Glasgo, New London County, CT. This small cemetery was away back in the woods and probably hadn't been cleared for years.
Williams Cemetery. On Shewsville Road off Mighway 124 Indiantown Road, near Ledyard.
Hamilton Avenue Cemetery. Norwich, New London County, CT.
Cemetery located northeast of Preston City, CT, on Bethel Road.
Rixton Cemetery, located out in the country from Preston City, CT.
