Overlooking the Hudson River in upstate New York, Albany was settled in the seventeenth century by men and women primarily from New York City. This database contains records of baptisms, marriages and deaths from the Dutch Reformed Church in the city. Researchers will find the names of nearly 3000 men, women, and children who were involved in these church ordinances between 1683 and 1700. In addition, this database contains a list of members of the Holland Society who died between 1800 and 1904. For those seeking information regarding Dutch ancestors in New York, this can be a source of important information.
