Created in 1806 from neighboring Chenango, Madison County, New York is located in the central part of the state and was home to nearly 36,000 persons in 1920. This database is a collection of city directories from the county in 1922. The towns of Oneida, Wampsville, Durhamville, and Sherrill are included in this compilation. Researchers will find the householder's name, spouse, occupation and town of residence. It includes the names of over 11,000 persons.
