Home to over 154,000 people in 1910, Oneida County is located in north-central New York. This database is a list of nearly 9000 county residents who served in the armed forces between 1917 and 1919. It reveals the serviceman's name, branch of service, rank, and town of residence. For those men who died during their service, the cause of death is provided. Additionally, the names of about one hundred nurses are given. For those seeking ancestors who served in World War I from New York, this can be a helpful source of information.
