An active socialist, Arthur Le Sueur established a law practice in Minot, North Dakota, edited the agrarian newspaper Appeal to Reason, and served as town mayor. This database is his biography, written by stepdaughter Meridel Le Sueur in 1955. It describes the life of this important leader, including his marriage to Marian, also a social activist. After his marriage, he settled in St. Paul where the couple championed civil liberties and social justice.
