The town of North Adams is part of Berkshire County and was formed in 1878 from the city of Adams. This database is a transcription of city directories originally published in 1887, 1890, 1891, and 1893. In addition to providing the residents' names, it provides their addresses and occupational information. The database includes more than 24,300 names, mostly heads of household.
