Located in central Ohio, along the Scioto River, Columbus was home to about 25,000 residents in 1890. This database is a transcription of five city directories originally published between 1888 and 1892. In addition to providing the resident's name, it provides information regarding their address and occupation. This collection includes the names of about 91,800 people, mostly heads of households. For those seeking ancestors from Ohio, this can be an informative database.
