Debra Graden extracted this database from "The Official Record of the Oregon Volunteers in the Spanish War and Philippine Insurrection" compiled by Brigadier General C. U. Gantenbein. Second Edition, J. R. Whitney, State Printer, Salem, Oregon, 1903. Also includes a map of Central Luzon from the book in TIF format. It shows: Name, Company, Rank, Regiment, Age, Birthplace, Occupation and Page Number. There are 1,581 records in the database. The additional information in the book is a physical description of each man and a description of his military service. All records marked with an (*) indicate that the person died while in the service.
