Named after the Northumbrian King of the same name, Ekfrid Township borders Elgin County in the south of Middlesex County. This database, compiled from original records housed in the Canadian National Archives, is a collection of federal census records from the township in 1901. It provides the names of over 2700 residents. Researchers will find the resident's name, birthplace, age, and relationship to the head of the household. Also provided are microfilm, division, page, entry, and family numbers to aid researchers in obtaining the original record, if desired.
