St. Thomas Parish Register, South Carolina, 1680-1884

Description (from source site)
Located along the Wando River in Berkeley County, South Carolina, the Parish of St. Thomas was founded in 1706 as a "French" parish. This database, originally published in 1884, is a collection of records from the parish and neighboring St. Denis Parish. It provides a brief history of each of the two parishes and a register of births, baptisms, marriages, and deaths. It also includes a list of parish ministers, and provides burial records for many parishioners. The records span from 1680 to 1884, and include the names of over 3,000 individuals. For researchers of early South Carolina ancestors, this database can provide detailed and helpful information.
