Located along the Wando River in Berkeley County, South Carolina, the Parish of St. Thomas was founded in 1706 as a "French" parish. This database, originally published in 1884, is a collection of records from the parish and neighboring St. Denis Parish. It provides a brief history of each of the two parishes and a register of births, baptisms, marriages, and deaths. It also includes a list of parish ministers, and provides burial records for many parishioners. The records span from 1680 to 1884, and include the names of over 3,000 individuals.
