Located in southern Michigan, the city of Ann Arbor is county seat of Washtenaw County. This database is a transcription of city directories originally published in 1886, 1888, 1890, and 1892. In addition to providing the residents' names, it provides their addresses and occupational information. The database includes more than 46,500 names, mostly heads of household.
