Located just north of Bronx County in New York State, the city of Mt. Vernon forms part of Westchester County. This database is a transcription of city directories originally published in 1889 and 1890. In addition to providing the residents' names, it provides their addresses and occupational information. The database includes more than 14,600 names, mostly heads of household.
