Marinette County, Wisconsin is located in the northeastern part of the state. In 1900, the county was home to nearly 30,900 residents. Most of the residents lived in or near the city of Marinette. This database consists of the 1900 U.S. Census (except Grover Precinct) taken in Marinette County, Wisconsin between 1 June 1900 and 28 June 1900. It includes approximately 29,000 individuals. Each record gives the individual's name, date of birth, age, place of birth, marital status, father's place of birth, mother's place of birth, immigration date, and census precinct residence. Researchers should remember that census databases are one of the most comprehensive sources for family history research for any geographical location.
