Located in central Connecticut, Bristol is about ten miles west of Hartford. This database is a collection of seventeen directories for the three cities of Bristol, Plainville, and Terryville between 1882 and 1893. In addition to providing the resident's name, it provides their address and occupational information. It includes the names of over 23,800 people, mostly heads of households. For the researcher of ancestors from Connecticut this can be an extremely valuable collection.
