This wonderful database contains the complete marriage records of Connecticut from the creation of the colony through 1800. The records were taken from the books at Congregational church parishes throughout the state from the years 1630 to 1800. Prior to 1659, there were eleven organized parishes. Between 1660 and 1800 this number increased to 200. With such a large collection of records this database is an invaluable research tool for anyone with ancestors who were married in Connecticut before 1800.
