Located in western Wisconsin, the city of Eau Claire is the county seat of Eau Claire County. This database is a transcription of city directories originally published in 1889, 1891 and 1893. In addition to providing the resident's name, it provides their address and occupational information. It includes over 26,300 names, mostly heads of households. For the researcher of ancestors from western Wisconsin, this can be an extremely valuable collection.
